He made this statement on the occasion of the ceremony of exchange of vows for the year 2019 with the agents and executives of his ministry, indicating that his ministry can develop the medical-pharmaceutical industry, in view of the study realized in the country-wide, on the role of the private sector in health.

He argued that the results of this study constitute a tool available to all those wishing to invest in this field in the Democratic Republic of Congo. According to the minister, the numerous health crises that the country has gone through in the last two years, have demonstrated the importance of investing in research and development, in order to improve the Nation's ability to respond effectively.

Returning to this study on the role of the private sector in health in early 2019, the Minister of Health intends to take up many challenges he has not been able to achieve in the last two years. As a reminder, the vision of the Ministry of Public Health is based on four pillars, which are the improvement of the quality of the supply of care, the facilitation of access to care, the development of the industrial sector of the health care sector and investment in research and development.
