A group of young people of the capital descended in the street on Monday January 7 to denounce the "abbot Donatien Nshole’s talk in connection with the" revelations "of the presidential results of last 30 December. An occasion for them to support the candidate of the Common Front for Congo (FCC), Emmanuel Ramazani Shadary who, according to them, "does not profit from any support on behalf of the catholic Church whereas this one should be in the medium of the village".
Recruited among the students, activists of humans right, these demonstrators framed by the National police force congolaise, stressed hostile cries at the place of the Secretary-general and spokesman of the episcopal Conference national of Congo (CENCO).
According to these kinshasa young people, at the time of his last intervention on Radio International France (RFI), abbot Nshole "gave an opinion for one of the competitors to the presidential election".
"Behavior which is not to encourage, especially at the moment when Congolese people are waiting for the provisional results on behalf of CENI, the only institution entitled to fix the national opinion on the name of the future President of the Republic", the demonstrators revealed.
Left from Place Triumphal, this march of the anonymous kinshasa young people passed by the huileries avenue to reach the Roundabout located on this artery where the organizers of the aforementioned demonstration read a declaration which they held to hand to the CENCO, the CENI and the other institutions of the country.
The statements of the demonstrators, "the hour is not indicated so that whoever can proclaim the winner of the polls of last December 30, 2018 ". "This way of acting of abbot Nshole is a way for the CENCO of inciting Congolese people of revolting whereas after election should constitute an occasion for each one of us to put together to help the future Head of State elected to well start his mandate in order to ensure the development of the DRC".
These young people fear that the supporters of the "candidate of abbot Nshole" rise themselves if this one would not be quoted like winner of the Presidential one". It is in this moment that we will invite the Attorney General of the Republic to open a legal file against this prince of the Church which will have with his charge the damages that will have caused those which will go down in the street if the results of the CENI will not satisfy them ".
In this moment of waiting the results of the combined elections of December 30, calls to calms multiply as well on behalf of the external partners of the DRC as on the side of local organizations. Everybody Everybody fears a climbing of violence after the publication of the name of the new elected President.
